Big Al’s Sandwich House

Big Al’s was a renowned local sandwich venue, hugely popular in the 90s and considered a Newcastle landmark. The business vanished one day, until 2018 when a mysterious social media account surfaced, promising a return of Big Al. Working with Headjam and the new business owners, we were able to put on a launch event to resurrect the cult favourite in the form of a food truck. The brand leans into early nostalgic 90s influences and even borrows some old typefaces used on merchandise by the former Big Al.
